QECM-2: A novel visualization of the influence of Earth’s precession index variations on the insolation, precipitation, and photosynthetic activity experienced by equatorial regions

This investigation inquired the extent to which the decrease of the precession index—perihelion, eccentricity, and obliquity—of Earth impacts climate conditions in two stretches of latitudinal regions: 22.25° to 34.75° and -17.75° to -25.25°. Using the NASA POWER and Earth Observations databases, Earth’s decreasing precession index and the precipitation, insolation, and net primary productivity (NPP) of Morocco, Mexico, Botswana, and Brazil from 2000-2015 were analyzed. My results indicated that "precessional targets" experience contrasting precipitation and NPP trends to accepted global climate models that align with fluctuations in the angle of the received radiation. I derived four quasi-periodic mathematical models representing the kiloyear climate evolution and employed them in a 97.7% accurate C++ climate model (QECM-2) outputting a graphical visualization of the precipitation and productivity specific coordinates will experience 50 years into the future, building off of the current (2020) precipitation and NPP value of that region.
