An Insecticidal Counting Method Based on Insecticidal Discharge Sound Signal Processing

The Solar Insecticidal Lamp is a low-carbon, green physical plant protection device. Its nightly kill count can be used to measure the density of the insect population in farmland areas to control the occurrence of insect pests. Aiming to address the issue of repetitive counting associated with existing voltage-based methods, a technique for insecticidal counting based on the time domain analysis of insecticidal discharge sound is proposed. This method resolves the problem of repeated counting, and the equipment used is simple, making it suitable for use with the insecticidal lamp. In the optimal solution, the overall accuracy of insecticide counting is 97.60%, and the accuracy of correctly distinguishing the number of single kills is 83.25%. Compared with the traditional voltage counting method, the former’s accuracy is improved by 14.9%, and the latter’s accuracy is improved by 37.25%. The results indicate that using this method to count the number of insecticides improves the accuracy of insecticidal counting and provides a more robust basis for pest control.
