Coordinated cyber attack of multiple step based on local and global information

The coupling connection between power system and communication system enables smart grid evolve into cyber-physical power systems, reaching automatic operation in closed-loop. However, diverse hacker has imposed private attack on systems to steal information or implement sabotage. In this paper, the coupling connection between power system and communication system is analyzed, along with its interactive relation between nodes. Then, the requirement of survival sub-system and process of cascading failure are described in detail. Considering the local and global information, the coordinated attack of multiple step based on local and global information (adaptive attack) is proposed to effectively disintegrate the cyber-physical power systems. For various systems model, simulation has verified the effectiveness of attack methods on disintegrating systems.
