Textile and Plastic Materials Study for Radiofrequency Structure Fabrication

This paper presents an empirical examination and comparative analysis of dielectric properties pertinent to textile and plastic materials, which are prospective candidates for the construction of radio frequency (RF) structures. The investigation delineated involves the elucidation of dielectric parameters of these materials, followed by a juxtaposition with extant data. Following this, RF simulations were conducted to design and scrutinize various RF structures, including antennas and transmission lines, employing the analyzed materials. Physical models were fabricated based on these simulations, with their performance being assessed against the empirical findings. The methodological rigor of the investigation extended to measuring pivotal dielectric parameters such as the dielectric constant and loss tangent of an array of textile and plastic materials, utilizing validated measurement techniques.
