An Effect on Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks for Load Balancing Through Adaptive Congestion Routing

The performance of the networks as a whole is negatively impacted by congestion in MANETs. Congestion and load balancing in the network are also significant issues with MANET routing since different routes have different link costs. The majority of the routing protocols in use today offer solutions for load balancing or congestion adaptation individually. LBCAR, which stands for load balancing and congestion adaptive routing, is a new concept introduced in this study. The overall network life can be increased by shifting the workload from congested to less congested nodes and including more nodes in the process of transmission that can participate in the route. The suggested protocol uses two metrics to assess the level of congestion: associated with a routing path are connection costs and traffic load density. This protocol chooses the packet transmission path with the lowest traffic load density and the longest life. The packet distribution ratio, average end-to-end delay, and standardized routing-related overhead of the network employing LBCAR are investigated and compared with CRP.
