VPIA-FMEA: A Method for Visual Perception Intelligent Algorithm FMEA

To address the challenges of performance degradation in visual perception algorithms in complex environments, this paper refers to the traditional FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) method and introduces a new failure impact analysis method specifically designed for the domain of visual perception algorithms, named VPIA-FMEA. By modifying the framework of the FMEA method and taking into account the characteristics of visual perception algorithms, the VPIA-FMEA method provides a more accurate and practical approach to algorithm failure analysis. The research findings of this paper offer invaluable guidance for enhancing the reliability and safety of visual perception algorithms, further promoting technological advancement and application in this field.
