Design and Construction of Secure Door Lock System Using RFID Authentication

Unauthorized access is a very important security issue everywhere. The traditional door locks which include; knob locks, padlocks, cam locks, deadbolts and mortise locks. Although these locks have provided security to some degree, criminals have however devised various means to break through them, they do steal some of these keys and use them or duplicate them, some of these locks can even be opened with so called “master keys” which are keys designed to open different locks. Now, modern technologies have been made and utilized to make more secure locks to make it harder for these criminals to get access to the system. This project research aim is to design and construct secure door lock system using RFID technology.
