Development of A Remote Monitoring System for Young School Pupils Using Geofencing Technique

With the increasing rate of crimes against children and the deterioration of public safety in various cities, parents constantly worry about the safety of their children when they go to school and until they return. To alleviate these concerns, this project aims to develop a remote monitoring system that enables parents to keep track of their children's whereabouts and receive notification messages when the children exceed the specified area. The system employs GPS and GSM technologies to determine the precise location of the child and to notify the parent accordingly. The system is designed to be easily portable by the child, either by carrying it manually, placing it inside their clothes, attaching it to their belt, or wearing it like a wristwatch. The GSM module is programmed to facilitate communication between the module and the child through two methods of communication, both of which are used to determine the child's location. The main function of the system is to activate an alert message and send it to the person responsible for tracking the child when they exceed the specified area. This process can be triggered using SMS, enabling remote communication with the GSM module via a mobile phone.
