Characterisation of Corncob, Sawdust, and Ldpe for Enhanced Bio-Oil Production

This study characterizes corncob, sawdust, and LDPE (Low-density Polyethylene) as potential feedstock for co-pyrolysis for improved bio-oil production. These feedstock are characterized for possible co-pyrolysis using various techniques, including compositional analysis, proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, TGA/DTA, and Calorific value. The characterization reveals their potential as a suitable material for co-pyrolysis. The synergy of these feedstock will compensate for individual shortcomings, resulting in improved bio-oil.
