Mission-oriented Resilience Evaluation Method for Multi-satellite TT&C System

Multi-satellite tracking, telemetry and command (multi-satellite TT&C) system has drawn increasing attention as the only connection between space and the earth. Due to the uncertainty of its operational environment, the system may be disturbed by satellite and equipment malfunctions, hostile attacks and other factors, which may reduce the effectiveness of the system. In response to the lack of system resilience after disturbance in the previous research on the multi-satellite TT&C systems, firstly, the operating state of the system is described by establishing a time-series bipartite network topology. Secondly, a method for evaluating a multi-satellite TT&C system's resilience is suggested. This method uses the index of cumulative task completion to measure the effectiveness of the system from the beginning to the present moment. Then three different fault scheduling strategies are constructed. Finally, taking a multi-satellite TT&C system as an example, the application of resilience evaluation methods under different fault scheduling strategies is given when the disturbance has random characteristics. The proposed model and resilience evaluation method can be utilized to support the operation of the multi-satellite TT&C system.
