A Novel Cogeneration Unit Optimization Strategy Considering Wind Power Consumption

With the double pressure brought about by energy shortage and environmental pollution. Countries around the world are committed to the research and development of sustainable and cleaner ways of energy utilization. Firstly, An optimal operation model of an electro-thermal energy system is built by this paper. The model considers both the heat source side and the heat storage side. Secondly, the model takes the minimization of system operation cost as the objective function. It comprehensively analyses the promotion effect of configuring electric boiler and heat storage box on wind power consumption. Finally, the validity of the model is verified by taking the 6-node system of Illinois Institute of Technology as an example.
