A Method for Power Grid Fault Recovery under Compound Disaster

In recent years, the frequent occurrence of extreme natural disasters in China has made it extremely easy to cause transmission line breaks and other faults, causing the distribution network to suffer large-scale power outages. Aiming at the problem of resilience enhancement of distribution network under extreme weather conditions, a method of recovery of distribution network faults under composite disaster conditions is proposed. Firstly, a distribution network fault risk model is established considering typhoon wind speed and rainfall intensity under extreme weather. Second, a distribution network fault recovery model under compound disaster conditions is established, taking into account both distribution network reconfiguration and line repair. The model is then transformed into a mixed-integer second-order cone planning model using the second-order cone relaxation technique. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by the IEEE 33-node distribution system arithmetic example.
