Shadow Length Impact on Inter-Row Spacing: Investigation for Agrivoltaic in Bangladesh

This study analyzes the impact of shadow length on the panel inter row spacing for a particular prospective agricultural field at Rangpur District situated in the northern part of Bangladesh. The objective is to calculate the optimum inter-row spacing for that field. Result shows that to get maximum energy throughout the year the tilt angle of the panels should be equal to latitude which is 25.67 degree for the studied site, and the shadow length due to this angle during noon time is taken as the optimum inter-row distance which is 0.5 meter.
