Application Research of Industrial Robot Motion Simulation and Control Under Virtual Reality Technology

With the gradual maturity and perfection of intelligent manufacturing technology, industrial robots, as a key link in the transformation and upgrading of modern manufacturing industry, will also usher in a new round of technology integration and function optimization. In this paper, aiming at the design requirements of industrial robots in terms of working accuracy, motion forms and control methods, the common six-axis industrial robots are taken as the research object, and a virtual simulation system is built with the help of virtual reality technology and 3D digital modeling technology. Combined with the motion trajectory planning and remote control theory of industrial robots, data communication and interactive operation between the virtual simulation system and robots are realized, so as to achieve the purpose of visual real-time control. The whole virtual simulation system is divided into two parts: virtual simulation engine and data communication. The virtual simulation engine is developed with Unity3D as the core and 3ds Max. The data communication is supported by Socket protocol and PLC module. Experiments show that the virtual simulation system can control and operate the industrial robot, realize the organic combination of virtual reality technology and industrial robot, improve the research and development efficiency of industrial robot, and provide experience and reference for the intelligent development of industrial robot.
