In the past few years Metaverse has gained attention due to the growth of online gaming and virtual reality platforms and also the use of technological advance devices such as AR/VR. This paper offers a comprehensive analysis and thorough comprehension of the Metaverse, encompassing a detailed exploration of its history, key attributes, and future applications. After examining earlier research papers, this paper has followed the origins of the metaverse term and found that it emerged from the science fiction book Snow Crash and a virtual world called Second Life.
