Statistical Analysis of Long-Term Human Memory Architecture Using Neural Network

The capabilities of episodic memory are incorporated into a simulation of the hippocampus that is based on spiking neural networks, which is conducted in this study article. The simulation wants to identify the appropriate values of their architectural biological parameters and provide support to the functionalities associated with episodic memory. The collection of events that make up the model is what represents the episodic store of the model. Within each event, the coactive behaviors that make up an experience are further segmented. The model has made an effort to imitate the three capacities of episodic memory, which include the ability to separate sample, the ability to associate sample, and the ability to recall the contents of past experiences. The pattern separation model made use of the dentate biological link to produce nearly distinct output sample that corresponded to the same input sample. This was done to avoid interference between two similar memory traces and make it possible to decrease ambiguity when recalling information. This was done in order to make it possible to reduce ambiguity when recalling information.
