Chromium Navigator Extension: Voice-Activated Assist for Disabled

The World Wide Web (WWW), for example, has grown increasingly ingrained in daily life and is becoming increasingly necessary for public, economic, individual, and even livelihood development efficiency. While the internet is used to publish information to the world and access knowledge from anywhere, people who are less fortunate, such as the blind and the motor-handicapped, do not have that privilege. There have been techniques in the past for controlling a web browser using voice commands. However, none of them focused on creating an assistive environment that could work with regular web browsers. Therefore, the aim of this research is to increase Web resource accessibility by creating a chrome extension that can be used in any browser that is based on chromium. This Chrome add-on will pay attention to user requests, recognize them, and translate them into browser navigational actions. With the ability to navigate websites using voice commands, Chromium Navigator makes use of the Chrome browser to increase accessibility. This enables people who are unable to use a standard input device, such as a mouse and/or keyboard, to access the internet.
