Development of technique for Increasing Directivity Different Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna

The main scope of this project is to produce a simulation for both H shaped and T shaped rectangular microstrip patch antennas with dielectric substrate of FR4 epoxy to increase the directivity at a frequency of 2.5 GHz. The patch antenna's rectangular dielectric substrate is 1.6 mm thick and has a dielectric constant of 4.4. The sample size of H shaped and T shaped rectangular patch antennas samples of 20 each. The total sample size is 40 and the impedance of bandwidth is over 60.72 % and return loss of directivity is -46 dB. The Directivity of the H-shaped patch antenna's rectangular patch antenna is 3.5740 better than the T shaped patch antenna with 1.5040 at 2.5GHz. From the result it is observed that the rectangular microstrip patch antenna of H shaped is better than T shaped and is used for improving high directivity.
