Development of EDA Tool for Fault Equivalence using Perl

In this paper tool is developed in Perl scripting language which helps to reduce number of stuck-at fault and it will make analysis easier for designer so for the complex circuit it becomes an extremely helpful to generate test vectors so fault equivalence basically reduces the fault approximately half of total stuck at fault. so this tool becomes an very effective for post silicon process to find possible test vectors of test generation also. it reduces test application time for testing process, fault equivalence basically gives the representation of all possible faults at net, that easily activated by applying non controlling input according to it's net type.
