Design of Electron Collector Magnetic Field for 0.67 THz Traveling Wave Tube

It is always the core of Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) design to improve the efficiency of the whole tube by improving the efficiency of the electron collector. In this paper, the design of electron collector magnetic field of 0.67 THz TWT is simulated. The process of electron beam being collected under the action of additional magnetic field is introduced. The control variable method proves that the additional magnetic field can significantly improve the electron collector efficiency. Under the operating voltage of 23.8kV and current of 23.5mA, the electron beam can be transmitted stably and collected by the collector.
