Analyze the Electromagnetic Scattering Coupling of Ship Structures at Multiple Scales Using a Rapid Shooting and Bouncing Ray Method

Aiming to address the multi-domain distribution and the sensitive potential coupling electromagnetic scattering effect among the various scales of ship structures, we propose a rapid SBR(Shooting and Bouncing Ray) algorithm. This algorithm is designed specifically for complex geometric surface elements, utilizing the bouncing ray method derived from optical theory. By simulating the propagation of ray beams through light columns, we enhance both the efficiency and accuracy of tracing multiple scattering events among numerous non-uniform surface elements. Consequently, this algorithm provides a solution for precise positioning and control of the coupled scattering correlation structure within multi-scale ship structures. We validate the effectiveness of this proposed method for controlling coupled scattering and optimizing the design of ship platforms through the application of a local structure example of ship platforms.
