Target Classification and Location Extraction Based on Scattering Data

The scattering matrix of a target summarizes its scattering properties and describes the target's dependence on radar polarization. According to the difference in polarization characteristics between different target scattering mechanisms, the geometric information and medium information of targets can be judged to achieve the classification and identification of the target. Based on the polarization scattering matrix theory, this paper conducts measurement experiments on the scattering characteristics of ground objects, analyzes the existence and position of the target in the background through time-domain experiments, and extracts the shape characteristics of the target through frequency domain experiments. Finally, simulation experiments are carried out to verify the validity of the results.
