Narrow Linewidth, Energy-Enhanced Injection-Seeded Tunable Terahertz Parameter Oscillator

A narrow linewidth, continuously tunable, energy-enhanced injection THz parametric oscillator based on a CLN crystal (CLN is-TPO) has been demonstrated in this paper. The CLN TPO was injection seeded with a continuous-wave single-frequency laser. The output terahertz wave with a tuning range of 1-3THz has been obtained. The maximum energy of
$12.89\mu\mathrm{J}/\text{pulse}$
was realized at 1.457THz under the pump energy of 120mJ/pulse. The measured THz-wave linewidth was about 88 MHz. This THz parametric source with a narrow linewidth and high energy output in wide frequency range is suitable to a variety of practical applications.
