Bit Error Rate Performance Analysis of DCSK-MIMO System using Logistic & Chebyshev Mapping Techniques

The security provided by the chaos communication system is much superior compared to other digital communication systems, due to its unique characteristics like wideband, non-periodic and non-predictability. Since chaos signals gets reformed into a new signal by changing its initial condition of chaos mapping, the chaos modulation has got great attention in the performance aspects. Differential Chaos Shift Keying is a modulation scheme based on chaos and used to have secured communication system. This paper, proposes the Differential Chaos Shift Keying (DCSK) modulation with 2*2 Multiple Input Multiple Output technique and analyses bit Error Rate performance over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. Two types of chaos-logistic mapping and Chebyshev polynomial functions are used and BER performance analysis is done. Results show that chaos generated with logistic map give better BER results compared to that with Chebyshev polynomial.
