Artificial Neural Network MPPT Based Lead Acid Battery Charge Controller for Isolated Photovoltaic System

The renewable energy sector has become one of the fastest growing. However, the price of a kWh from renewable resources is too expensive compared to energy produced from fossil sources. For this reason, maximising production plays an important role in relation to the cost price of energy. To this end, this paper proposes an ANN MPPT control for a PV system, together with a lead acid battery controller. The results obtained show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
