Experimental Study of VR32 Breaker Thermal State with Rated Current of 100A

The article is devoted to the study of heat transfer processes of VR32 breaker. The method of experimental study of the thermal state is presented in the article. The scheme of the experimental study and the list of equipment used are presented. The studies were carried out at different current values within the nominal parameters. The results represent the temperature distribution on the contact surface and its change over time. Experimental studies were carried out in accordance with the standards of the Russian Federation. The results obtained make it possible to verify the previously developed mathematical model of heating the circuit breaker contact system.
