Wild Life Detection Providing Security to Villages – YOLO v8

In response to the increasing challenge of wild animal intrusions in rural areas, this study presents an innovative solution for rural community protection. The proposed system utilizes cameras and sound recognition technology to detect the presence of potentially dangerous wildlife and concurrently emit a loud sound to deter the animals and alert the villagers. The proposed system ensures safety and economic security by mitigating wild animal attacks and crop damage. With a user-friendly interface and real-time alerting capabilities, the proposed system represents a significant step towards harmonious human-wildlife coexistence and supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
