ESP32 CAM-based Car Security System via Telegram Integration

This research study presents a groundbreaking car security system based on the ESP32 cam technology, designed to enhance vehicle security and provide real-time monitoring capabilities. At the commencement of the car, an ESP32 Cam concealed within the steering wheel captures images of the car’s surroundings and expeditiously transmits them to the car owner’s Telegram bot, accompanied by precise GPS location data. The car owner can remotely review these images and execute specific commands, “access” or “reject,” contingent on the recognition of individuals. Unauthorized access triggers a 15-second alarm and the halting of the engine, while authorized access initiates the car’s engine. Furthermore, the car owner can request real-time photos and the car’s current location by sending “photo” and “loc” commands. The system offers a holistic security solution, enhancing vehicle protection, and empowering car owners with user-friendly remote control and real-time situational awareness. The entire code deployment via an FTDI programmer ensures seamless implementation, marking a significant advancement in vehicle security and real-time monitoring capabilities in the age of automotive technology.
