Improved MAC (IMAC) based Encryption with the Combination of Elgamal Approach and Diffie-Hellman (DH) Algorithm for Data Security of Medical Data

At present, the emerging Medical Internet of Things (mIoT) provides a path for the development of many healthcare systems for monitoring respiratory abnormalities. The IoT supported system supports for the measurement of respiratory activity and support lossless data collection so that the health professionals can assist the patients in case of emergency. Also, the system ensures the protection of medical data by using various cryptographic algorithms. This research introduces a data security approach that implements entity authentication by Elgamal approach, key generation by Diffie-Hellman (DH) Algorithm followed by Improved Message Authentication Code (IMAC) based encryption.
