Cleanliness Follow-up using Deep Learning

Garbage collection is a challenging task which require tremendous efforts and manpower. This research proposes automatic garbage collection system with the help of the CCTV cameras present on the street. The proposed work includes generation of handcrafted dataset having images of garbage piles as per requirement. Deep Learning models viz. YOLOv5n, YOLOv7-tiny and YOLOv8n are employed to form a system which detects the garbage and send alert to the relevant authorities.
