Sentiment Analysis on Restaurant Review using Machine Learning Algorithms

Sentiment analysis or opinion mining is a machine learning technique used to determine whether a given statement or review is positive or negative. Sentiment defines the tone of a customer or a person regarding a product or service or towards a function. Whenever an opinion is expressed towards a product, it can be classified into positive, negative, or neutral.Sentimental analysis using Machine learning algorithms helps the business to identify the opinion of a customer to make decision, focusing on the product performance in the market.Sentimental analysis can be used in different fields that include Business, Marketing, social media, Education, Health Care etc. This paper provides insights of sentimental analysis and applications of opinion mining and comparative exploration of existing techniques for opinion mining. There are numerous algorithms which can be used to perform sentiment analysis, that includes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree and Naive Bayes etc.
