The Study of Space Circulation on IKEA Kreativ Application for Sustainable Business in Furniture Industry

In 2022, IKEA launched the IKEA Kreativ application as a development of its furniture sales strategy by presenting an interactive design experience through artificial intelligence (AI) technology. An excellent digital interior 3D drawing certainly still requires designer knowledge, especially in function and not just the aesthetic aspects. Applying Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) as part of the marketing strategy will positively impact and support the sales of IKEA products. Adapting to the community's needs through IKEA Kreativ is a consistency of IKEA's business development in interpreting its main concepts, such as ideas and practice concepts. This research found that this application has minimal information related to standard circulation needed by humans as users. The clearance space shown in the application did not have a measurement. Ergonomics is a primary aspect of creating space, and it also needs to be applied in digital space. It gives appropriate areas for human mobility in their daily activities. This research will focus on the IKEA Kreativ that aims to give experience to the user and support customers in deciding on the type of furniture based on their circumstances. By developing technology-based digital applications, IKEA has continuously improved their services and supported sustainable business in the retail furniture industry.
