User Experience in Retail Furniture (IKEA Store) as a Model for Space Circulation in Apartment Design

This study explores how the user experience at IKEA stores based on space circulation and its use in an apartment relate to one another. Despite being regarded as a comfortable place to live, apartments have limited space to accommodate the needs of facilities and activities used by residents, particularly in circulation. Additionally, it includes restrictions on how furniture should be arranged, which affects how apartments are often laid out. How can users arrange living space in apartments using the IKEA store’s user experience in space circulation as a model? His study used descriptive analysis using IKEA showrooms and studio apartments as a case study. It is intended that the outcomes of this study will be used as references for residential standard dimensions involved in the arrangement of facilities and circulation in confined spaces.
