Image based Sudoku Solver using Applied Recursive Backtracking

For a long time, we have seen people being obsessed with Sudoku, and solving it might take people hours while most of them are not able to solve them at all. It gathered peoples’ attention due to its simple yet brainstorming structure and very low requirement of any special skills. Many algorithms have been developed in the past few years for solving a Sudoku using computational power. One technique that we will be seeing today is the backtracking algorithm which recursively calls the function again and again and goes on building the solution with each step. This algorithm is specifically used to solve problems like Hamiltonian circuit problems and the N-queen problem. There are two types of backtracking and the one which we will be focusing on is the recursive backtracking algorithm. The paper will also focus on the projection of all the solution values directly on the Sudoku image in real-time.
