3D Reconstruction of Space Combustion Experimental Flame Based on Physical Constraints

The space microgravity environment is of great significance to the study of combustion laws. In order to deeply explore attribute distributions of flame, a 3D reconstruction method of space combustion experiment flame based on physical constraints was proposed. The optical transitive model was used to describe target flame area, and an energy constraint function containing smoothness factor was designed. The result was solved iteratively based on adaptive adjustment. When processing continuous data, the efficiency was improved through time series information transfer. Simulated flames were used for method validation, and the images obtained from space combustion experiment were used as input data for experiments. The results show that this method can accurately and quickly solve the 3D distribution of radiant intensity, and the model rendered with reconstruction result has a considerable fidelity.
