Optimization Analysis of the Main Insulation Structure of the Large Generator Stator Bar

Currently, the most important task is to ensure the operational reliability of generators. As the power and voltage of generators increase, the requirements for the insulation properties of generators also become higher. Therefore, it is of great significance to carry out the optimization analysis of the main insulation structure of the stator bar of a large generator to improve the electric field distribution in the stator bar insulation system. Using PTC Creo3.0 and COMSOL Multiphysics connected through the Livelink interface an automatic simulation system is created for estimating the electric field distribution in stator bar insulation. The parameterized modeling of the slot area of the generator stator bar is of great guiding significance for the optimization of the insulation structure of large machines. It can provide a theoretical basis for optimization of the insulation system design of the stator bars.
