Design and Evaluation of AR-Based Maintenance System for a Steam Jet Ejector of a Geothermal Power Plant

This research aimed to explore the design and evaluation of Augmented Reality (AR) system for maintenance activities in a Geothermal power plant. In addition, AR system was implemented through HoloLens 2 and integrated with digital manuals to determine the maintenance procedures and machine condition parameters. The evaluation of this system was conducted by comparing the effectiveness of smart maintenance using AR with traditional manual maintenance activities. Based on the maintenance effectivity scale of 0-4, the implementation of AR-based system was 2.38. The result showed that AR system partially improved maintenance activities, reduced the data collection process, and enhanced the visibility of the manual procedures.
