DeMaaS: Efficient Service Distribution for MaaS via Decentralized Collaboration and Optimization

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) endeavors to offer an integrated transportation system via a singular application with a view to curtailing private car usage. Nevertheless, despite broadening travel options, MaaS system still faces a bottleneck when dealing with fully socialized participation due to the lack of efficient collaboration mechanisms among different entities. To facilitate decentralized information exchange, this research puts forth a 3-layer MaaS framework. The first layer entails a data synergy network to enable data sharing and information exchange, supporting the second layer's consensus control using consensus algorithms and mechanisms. The third layer is the implementation of mobility resource optimization by applying consensus mechanisms. To illustrate the framework's effectiveness, a numeric experiment on distributed resource allocation is undertaken, wherein an interactive negotiation-based method is advocated to attain consensus on demand-supply balancing. The outcomes evince scalability and resilience superiority over the centralized approach.
