Optimization Research of Transportation Costs and Efficiency of Multimodal Transportation System

Multimodal transportation is an important medium for the circulation of goods. Due to the insufficient consideration of cost factors in traditional models when predicting route selection, the cost of multimodal transportation route selection is relatively high. Therefore, a multimodal transportation route selection model considering transportation cost optimization is studied. This article uses the network graph theory in operations research to construct a multimodal transportation network graph. Based on the minimum total cost, a model is established, and the Dijkstra algorithm for solving the shortest path is used to solve the model. The feasibility of the entire model is confirmed during the process of solving the example problem. This article provides suggestions for strengthening the establishment of logistics systems, strengthening the application of information technology, and strengthening the construction of standard systems, in order to improve the efficiency of multimodal transportation.
