DEA Based Model for Evaluating the Utilization Rate of Power Grid Assets

Nowadays, the efficient utilization of resources and energy is a key issue related to the national economy and people’s livelihood, among which the power industry is very important. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a method of operations research and economic production boundary research, which is generally used to measure the production efficiency of some decision-making departments. In order to solve this problem, this article conducted research on DEA, aiming to establish a PG asset utilization evaluation model through DEA, which could efficiently utilize power resources while ensuring power safety, thus saving unnecessary resource consumption and making a contribution to promoting the development of the power industry. Experimental evidence showed that the DEA based model for evaluating the UR of PG assets could enhance the safety of PG construction, reduce the risk coefficient by approximately 10%, and increase the UR of PG assets by 15%.
