Artificial Intelligence for Photovoltaic Power Prediction

Efficient use of the fluctuating energy production of photovoltaic systems requires reliable forecast information for management and operational strategies. This prediction is necessary not only for grid integration in PV systems, but also for small grids and stand-alone systems. The objective of this work is to search for better short-term PV power prediction techniques, in order to quantify the energy available for renewable energy applications.
