A Voltage Control Method for Electric Vehicle Charging in the New Power System

A voltage control method considering electric vehicle (EV) charging is proposed to address the issues of random load fluctuations and voltage instability in the new power system. Firstly, based on the concept of multi-agent and hierarchical control, a new power system collaborative control architecture considering the EV charging model is proposed to ensure efficient interaction between DGs, EVs and the system. Then, Markov modeling is performed on the system voltage control, and a flexible Actor-Critic algorithm is used to solve it, thus obtaining a voltage regulation scheme that takes into account EVs. Finally, based on the IEEE-33 node system, experimental analysis was conducted on the proposed method, and the results showed that its node voltage deviation was the smallest, and the mean square error and average absolute percentage error of voltage deviation were 7.25% and 6.19%, respectively, to solve the voltage limit exceeding problem in the new voltage system.
