An Empirical Method for Stability of Integrated Energy Systems in Parks Based on Time-Domain Simulation

Integrated energy systems (IESs) are widely used because of their ability to achieve complementary synergies and efficient utilization of multiple energy sources. However, the complexity of the structure and operation mechanism of IESs makes it difficult to evaluate the system accurately and reliably. Time-domain simulation is a key technology to address the planning, assessment and control of IESs, so an empirical method based on time-domain simulation is proposed to demonstrate the stability of IESs in parks. Firstly, mathematical models are established for the electricity-heat-gas module of the integrated energy system in parks, as well as for the coupling methods of conversion and transmission among various energy sources, respectively. Then, based on Simulink’s multi-rate simulation technology, simulation modeling is carried out for a demonstration project of integrated energy system in a certain park. Finally, the stability assessment index of the integrated energy system is proposed, and simulation verification is carried out based on the constructed model, and the results show that the time-domain simulation empirical method can better verify and analyze the system stability.
