Research on Magnetic Integration Technology of Half-Bridge Converter for Aerospace Application

This paper presents magnetic integration provides an accurate method for the fully utilizing the magnetizing curves of several magnetic components by integrating into one magnetic core in order to achieve a lighter and smaller converter. This paper aims to put forward a method which can apply the magnetic integration into the DC-DC converter with half-bridge topology in the aerospace. This paper has fully utilized the magnetic integration into the analysis of converters in the working stages and the following established magnetic circuit model. An engineering prototype based on aerospace-grade components is developed. Then, the problems existed in the practical application of magnetic integration into the DC-DC converter in the aerospace are discussed and the related solutions are put forward. As a result, the experimental results of the engineering prototype proves the feasibility of the solutions raised in this paper.
