IoT- Inventory Stock Management

The phenomenon of information as well as communication technology has made life easier in every way. Internet use has rapidly increased over the past ten years, becoming ingrained in daily life as a result. A method known as “home administration utilizing the Internet of Things” (IOT) uses a computer or mobile device to control standard house features. automatically through the Internet from anywhere in the world. It does this by employing sensors that are connected to the Internet. An effective technique for managing the kitchen inventory is described in this study. Warehouse administration has undergone a revolution. The core elements of an IOT inventory system for warehouse administration are load cells, HX711 load cell amplifier modules, and Node MCU. The amount of inventory in a storage container can be calculated using load cells, sensors that detect weight. The output signal from the load cell is amplified by the HX711 load cell amplifier module, making it simpler for a microcontroller or computer to receive and process. A cheap, Wi-Fi-enabled microcontroller called the Node MCU can link to the internet and send data from load cells and HX711 modules to a central database or cloud-based platform. Using these components, an IOT inventory system can monitor actual levels of stock, automatic reordering of depleted goods and provide alerts when inventory levels fall below a certain threshold. This can help warehouse managers optimize their inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
