Heart Rate Monitoring on Facial RGB Images using Deep Learning

The approach described in this study for calculating pulse rate is both inexpensive and precise. By choosing the right channel and using principal component analysis, the desired signal was obtained. The study presents a novel, non-contact heart rate monitoring method. Following the completion of the required adjustments, the suggested approach may prove to be quite useful for monitoring family members. It's a non-contact, affordable way that we can do using a basic webcam or even the camera on a phone. This study Paper reveals that the prototype, which was created using OpenCV and deep learning techniques, may be used to analyse a person's face in order to determine their heart rate using the datasets that were made accessible, according to our study paper.
