Visible Light Positioning System Based on Quantum Well Diode

Quantum Well Diodes (QWD) have been proven to possess the fundamental physical phenomenon of simultaneous light emission and detection, making them suitable for sensing requirements in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT). The QWD chip itself offers several advantages, including miniaturization, low cost, strong resistance to electromagnetic interference, and high confidentiality, which contribute to its broad application prospects. By utilizing an array of QWD chips in a 2×2 configuration, combined with hardware circuits and software algorithms, we can achieve real-time localization of spatial light sources. This provides a low-cost and miniaturized technical approach for light source positioning.
