Intent-Driven Network Slicing Security Provision and Management

Network slice security is the prerequisite for introducing network slicing to vertical industries. The security capabilities of one slice need to be decided based on customers' requirements and the security capabilities that the network is capable of providing. Provisioning slice security capabilities passes through the life cycle of a slice instance. However, there is a gap between security requirements and security capabilities that need to be provisioned. It's not easy for the slice customers or the network operators provisioning the security capabilities of one slice. An intelligent slice security capabilities provisioning and management method is urgently needed. This paper proposes an approach to decompose, propagate and perform the slice security related intents in order to achieve intent-driven slice security provision and management.
