Dual-Band Base Station Antenna with Low-Scattering Dipoles by Parasitic Structure

In this paper, a novel dual-band base station antenna array that utilizes parasitic stubs as decouplers is proposed. The addition of parasitic stub beside high-band(HB) antenna mitigates cross-band scattering interference, and has a slight effect on impedance match of HB antenna which operates in the band of 1.8-2.6GHz(VSWR<1.5). The C-band(CB) antenna elements operate in band of 3.3-3.6GHz, and measured port isolations are higher than 35dB and 29dB in the HB and CB antenna, respectively.
