An Application for Mitigating Carelessness with Concept of Homophones and Look-Alike Words

Careless actions or behaviors often lead to undesirable outcomes. For example, consider a scenario where someone inadvertently sends or shares incorrect information; this can cause inconvenience and discomfort to others. Moreover, the individual who made the mistake may become hesitant to send or share information in the future due to the mental burden resulting from self-reflection and self-discipline. In other words, addressing carelessness solely through attention or blame may not be sufficient for individuals to overcome it. This paper proposes an application that encourages individuals to contemplate carelessness with concept of homophones and look-alike words.
